Aurora’s spine-tingling Haunted Forest returns to Sheppard’s Bush

Tickets on sale now for Oct. 26 event that offers options for family-friendly activities and something a little scarier

The Haunted Forest returns to Sheppard’s Bush in Aurora with a night of spine-tingling fun for all who dare on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The event from 6 to 9 p.m. begins indoors at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex with fun crafts and interactive activities, followed by complimentary ride on Casper’s Scare School Bus to the Haunted Forest's eerily decorated trails and cabins.

You can choose to follow a whimsical, family-friendly trail or test your courage on the scarier path. Don’t miss the Ghost Story Pavilion, where captivating tales will both enchant and spook you. A charitable barbecue will be on-site for a nominal fee.

Wristbands are required for ages two and older to participate in the indoor activities and to tour the trails. There are two options:

  • $5 wristband (yellow) - Access to the family trail, family cabin and ghost stories. 
  • $6 wristband (neon red) - Access to all trails including the family and scary trails and cabins, and ghost stories.

The event, one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events, presented by Geranium Homes, takes place as the Aurora Family Leisure Complex, 135 Industrial Parkway North (indoor activities) and Sheppard’s Bush (Haunted Forest trails and cabins) at the Mary Street entrance.

Wristbands can be purchased as of Oct. 1 at: Aurora Family Leisure Complex, Aurora Town Hall, 100 John West Way, Aurora Town Square, 50 Victoria St., Joint Operations Centre, 229 Industrial Parkway North, and Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex, 1400 Wellington St. East.
