Drivers can expect to see some lane reductions on Davis Drive in Newmarket next week as York Region does roadway crack-sealing work.

The region said on social media that the work would be happening between Bathurst Street to Woodbine Avenue weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. That will lead to some short-term lane reductions, the region said.

“Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future,” the region said on its website.

If weather permits, the region said it expects the work to be complete by July 12.

More information on road work is available on York Region’s website.
