The Town of Aurora is hosting a youth volunteer fair to connect local high school students with organizations looking for help this fall.
The event, set to be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex, is aimed at youth aged 12 to 17 wishing to fullfil their required high school community service hours.
Fifteen to 20 organizations will be there to recruit youth volunteers, including the Town of Aurora, Aurora Public Library, Aurora Minor Hockey Association, CICS Immigrant Youth Centre, 360Kids, and the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame.
The Aurora Family Leisure Complex is located at 135 Industrial Pkwy. N.
