A man was confronted by armed carjackers after they had rear-ended his vehicle Sunday night in Markham.
On Nov. 3 at about 7 p.m., police responded to the reports of a carjacking in the area of Warden Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive, a York Regional Police news release stated. The victim's vehicle had been hit by a Honda sedan and when he exited to check the damage, he was confronted by two suspects armed with firearms.
One suspect stole the victim's Lexus, while the other fled in the Honda, police said.
There were no reported injuries.
Both suspects are described as male, wearing all black clothing.
Police would like to speak to anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the incident.
