The window of a house in East Gwillimbury was shattered after being struck by a bullet Sunday afternoon.
The home's occupant had called police to report the roof of his house near Marlene Johnston Drive and Crimson King Way had been struck by a bullet, and that when he went upstairs to check, he found a bedroom window shattered and debris scattered all over his bed on Oct. 13 at 2:15 p.m., according to a York Regional Police news release
Officers checked the area, including nearby parks, green spaces and marshes and canvassed the neighbourhood, but did not locate anything suspicious.
Investigators are seeking any video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to please come forward.
