Holiday Marketplace: Run by the Aurora Seniors Centre, the Holiday Marketplace offers visitors a chance to buy gifts, as well as participate in a silence auction. The centre will also be running knitting, woodworking and sewing activities, while the tea room will be serving snacks and hot beverages. The event is on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Aurora Seniors Centre, located at 90 John West Way.

Trinity Christmas Market: The Trinity Christmas Market is back, offering a chance for visitors to buy gifts and have a lunch, with chilli, sandwiches and macaroni & cheese on offer. The market has free admission and is on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Trinity Anglican Church, located at 79 Victoria St. More information can be found online.
Saturday, Nov. 23
A Christmas Concert: The Evergreen Choir will be presenting its annual festive show at the Aurora Seniors Centre, located at 90 John West Way. A Christmas Concert, is set to be on Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the centre.
Santa Under the Stars Parade: Aurora is hosting its annual parade featuring decorated floats, marching bands and a few special guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa Claus will also make an appearance on this sleigh. More information can be found on the town’s website.

Aurora Christmas Market: Aurora's Christmas Market will be returning to town this year, but for the first time in the newly opened Town Square from 5 to 9 p.m. The event will feature hands-on workshops and activities, fantastic seasonal vendors and food vendors. Steven Taetz: Part of the Aurora Cultural Centre’s Up and Close Musical season, Steven Taetz will be performing a suite of festive classics and songs from his newly minted 2024 holiday album. The show is on at Aurora Town Square on Nov. 30, starting at 7:30 p.m. Buy tickets here.

Deck the Halls Tour: This guide, prepared by the Town of Aurora, highlights the best decorated houses in town. Applications to be included on the tour can be found online, the deadline to apply is Nov. 15.

Laila Biali with special guest Jane Bunnett: Part of the Aurora Cultural Centre’s “Up and Close Musical” season, JUNO winning singer Laila Biali is back performing in town with a selection of festive songs. Menorah Lighting Ceremony: The town has partnered with Chabad Aurora to host a Menorah Lighting Ceremony, as the local Jewish community celebrates the Festival of Light. The ceremony will include the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods and more. The event is on Dec. 29, starting at 4 p.m. at Aurora Town Square. More information can be found online.
