Attendance is free at the Concerts in the Park shows, but food donations to the Aurora Food Pantry are encouraged.

Local band The Beresfords will be bringing the music of Taylor Swift alive on July 24, as the Town of Aurora announces its lineup for its Concerts in the Park series.

Brother and sister duo Brendan and Shannon Beresford will be taking the stage in Aurora Town Park next month, playing to crowd of Swifties.

“That speaks to how we always like to keep it local and see people in our community contributing, and it’s exciting especially during Concerts in the Park,” said Aurora Mayor Tom Mrakas.

Also on the schedule is Hotel California on July 17, a tribute to The Eagles, as well as Pearl Jamming, a tribute to Pearl Jam on Aug. 14, which Mrakas had earmarked as two shows that he was particularly looking forward to.

“I think there’s a good mixture for everybody with this selection,” he said.

This is the 27th year of Concerts in the Park in Aurora. The summer concert series starts on July 3 and runs until Aug. 28.

Last year, shows like the Hotel California saw more than 2,700 people attend, according to town estimates.

Here is the full line-up:

Aug. 21, Fandango will be performing its tribute to ZZ Top, promising “an unforgettable night of “Texas boogie” and rock music.

“It’s always a great treat for everyone in the town, and the crowd always get excited for that one,” added Mrakas.

There will also be licensed beverages sold by The Armoury, and a wide array of food options.

All the concerts are being held at Aurora Town Park at 49 Wells St. from 7 to 9 p.m.

The concerts are free but attendees are encouraged to bring a food donation to go toward the Aurora Food Pantry.

Every person who donates gets entered into a prize draw for a “premium concert experience,” sponsored by TD, who have sponsored the concert series for 12 years.
