Police are looking for these suspects in relation to a break-in May 21 at a home in Richmond Hill.

Police are looking for two suspects following a home invasion last month in Richmond Hill.

On May 21 at 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a break-in at a home in the area of Shirley Drive and Redstone Road. Two people had knocked on the door before forcing their way in. They assaulted the homeowner with an unknown object before fleeing, York Regional Police said in a news release.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a trauma centre. He has since recovered.

Police believe the incident was targeted.

One suspect is described as a white man, about 40 years old, with a heavy build and standing about five-foot-eight. He had a buzz cut and a full beard and was wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts and black and white shoes.

The second suspect is a man standing about five-foot-seven with a medium build and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a windbreaker-style hooded jacket with the hood up, a baseball hat, a full face mask and white shoes.
