VIDEO: Teens arrested for armed home invasion, Lamborghini theft

Police are searching for a third suspect wanted in connection with the incident in Richmond Hill early Thursday

Two suspects have been arrested following a home invasion and theft of the victim's Lamborghini in Richmond Hill early Thursday.

Three suspects entered the residence near Rothbury and Gamble roads by smashing the rear glass door and confronted the victims with firearms on Sept. 12 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a York Regional Police news release said.

The suspects fled in the Lamborghini.

There were no injuries, police added.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., investigators located the stolen Lamborghini parked with a suspect vehicle, a white Range Rover, in the area of Grover Hill Avenue and Frank Endean Road. Police said the Range Rover had been stolen in a carjacking in Toronto on Sept. 10.

The vehicles were contained and two suspects were taken into custody after attempting to flee.

Police are searching for at least one additional suspect, who is described as male, approximately 20 years old, five feet eight inches, wearing a black balaclava, black-hooded sweater, grey athletic pants with black stripes down the legs and black shoes.

Investigators are releasing a photograph of the adult suspect, as they believe these suspects are responsible for additional offences.

A video of the suspects can be seen here:

Dilraj Bal, 19, of Woodstock and a 16-year-old male of Brampton are each charged with robbery using restricted or prohibited firearm; disguise with intent and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 x2.

Bal was on a probation order at the time of his arrest and the young offender is currently on bail for previous robbery charges, police said.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the incident.
