Shooting at Vaughan house was targeted, police say

House was occupied at the time of the shooting at about 3 a.m. Monday at Teston and Weston

A residence in Vaughan was shot at multiple times early Monday by a suspect who then fled in a vehicle with two other suspects.

York Regional Police arrives at the house near Weston Road and Teston Road Monday, Sept. 2 at approximately 3 a.m. for a report of the sound of gunshots. Multiple shell casings were found in front of the residence, police said in a news release.

Video surveillance show a suspect discharging a firearm at the residence before fleeing in a vehicle with two other suspects.

The house was occupied at the time of the shooting, however, there were no injuries, police said.

Investigators believe the incident is targeted.

Suspect is described as male, light-skinned, wearing all black. 

Suspect vehicle is described as a white sedan with dark-tinted windows and silver rims.

Investigators are seeking any additional video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to please come forward.
