Three adults and a child were in a home when four suspects entered and demanded money Wednesday in Markham.
On Sept. 4 at about 12:15 a.m., police were called to a residence in the area of Victoria Square Boulevard and Woodbine Avenue for the armed home invasion, York Regional Police said in a news release.
The suspects had fled in a dark-red compact sport utility vehicle with silver roof racks.
No one was injured, police said.
Investigators believe this is a targeted incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the incident.
