Henry Ai has been arrested in connection to a homicide in Richmond Hill.

Update (Sept. 21, 5:05 p.m.)

Henry Ai was arrested shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday in Toronto.

Police say there is no threat to the public and that they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.

The identity of the deceased will not being released until the post-mortem has been completed and next of kin have been notified.

Police are looking for a suspect in a homicide investigation in Richmond Hill.

On Saturday at 8:25 a.m., police responded to a call to conduct a welfare check at a residence in the area of Gracedale Drive and Shaftsbury Avenue. When they arrived, they located a deceased adult in the home.

Henry Ai, 23, of Richmond Hill, is being sought by police, who urge him to turn himself in. Anyone who sees the suspect is advised to not approach him but to call 911 immediately. He is not believed to be in a vehicle and he is known to use public transportation and ride-share services.

Ai is described as Asian, standing six-foot-two, with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey, long-sleeve sweater, a white-collared shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with video surveillance footage from the area of Gracedale Drive, near Shaftsbury Avenue, between Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. is asked to share it with police here.
